My oldest sister Susan is a huge entertainer and spared no detail in turning 4 rooms of her house into various settings from the story; and also offered hedghog croquet on the lawn. She has a heart of gold.
Here we are in our "Mad Hatter Hats" we made - Susan, me, Jane with Samuel...
Gotta love a boy who tries on pearls and sunglasses and looks so cool in them! Or rather gotta love a boy who stands for his aunt's antics of trying on these accessories...
My nephew Zachary will be studying Chemistry at University of Cincinnati in the fall. I love this picture of him and my neice Grace. Love Zach's kind heart.

Here's Sophie being a great big cousin. What a great big sister she'll be. (Lucky, lucky me!!!)
Grace and I had a girls day out one day. We painted pottery, and had a hotdog and popcorn at Target. We counted the "sleeps" before we could pick the pieces up. And viola - here we are sleeping after pickup! She made a beautiful yellow horse with a red and pink mane.

And again with my Mom... Sleeping seemed to be a very common theme in my pictures this summer. My poor Mother was sick the entire visit :O( ; I think Grace is in recovery from her very first sleepover at Aunt Susan's house.
Years and years ago my father took my sisters and I to Phillips Crab House in the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. I was in my 20's and I remember the lunch as feeling "grown up" with my Dad and sisters. Although we'd been there before many times, that lunch was a different dynamic. We have pictures that we all love of the occasion. Here's another new lunch memory with my sisters and Dad...

Thank goodness for hats - very bad hair day (for me that is)!
I look forward to next summer when we all get together again!
